What can you do to reduce the running cost of your swimming pool?
The obvious answer is to run your pool for less hours. I know that many people do this but this is not advised by pool professionals, and can in fact cause problems such as green or cloudy water, ear infections, or worse. The water in your pool has to be turned over and filtered at least twice per day in the summer, any less is not advisable; especially when the bather load is at its highest.

So what is the answer?
The answer is to dramatically reduce your electricity costs but still have a clean and safe swimming environment. Thankfully we now have a new pump that can. VIRON ECO – Variable Speed Pump.

How does the VIRON Eco pump operate?
Imagine a pump that only requires approx 150 Watts to operate but still turns over your pool water efficiently. (approx. 7,500lt/h) It also has faster speeds from 1.5hp (P320) to 2.5hp (P600) to aid vacuuming and backwashing. These ultra-efficient pumps utilises a new technology consisting of rare earth magnets. Typically, a pool running for 8 hours per day will only cost 30c per day. (EUR9 per month)
